Biography
When you think of talented male singers, a number of vocalists may come to mind. But when it comes to passionate, heart-felt music, many people think of Joseph Frech. His devotion to presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in music has stirred the hearts of people worldwide.
Joseph began singing at an early age in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky for various church and school choirs, as well as solo appearances. Certain of God’s calling on his life, this trend continued into his college years at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he joined several traveling groups and grew stronger, both vocally and spiritually.
After college, Joseph had the opportunity to sing with two popular Southern Gospel groups, the Journeymen Quartet and the Stamps Quartet. While performing with them in cities across the US, as well as Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Canada, he began writing music and felt God leading him into a new solo ministry. In preparation for this new path, Joseph came back home and earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Liberty.
Through his willingness to use his talent for God’s glory, doors have opened for him to sing in prisons, homeless shelters, recovery groups and other “under the radar” venues. “Everyone needs to feel value and experience the saving grace of Jesus Christ,” states Joseph. “God has a plan for every life, and it’s never too late to turn broken lives over to Him.”
Among his original songs, Grace Found Me tells the story of one such life that seemed too far gone, but, “just as the prodigal son came to his senses, a person can turn to God and be changed for all of eternity,” explains Joseph. “Your life has value, don’t ever give up!”
